Fast Isoprene Sensor Models

The Fast Isoprene Sensor FIS-Auto has an automated calibration system which uses an on-board microprocessor and electronic valving for automatic calibrations up to 12 times per day, allowing unattended or remote operation. A low flow model, FIS-Auto-cuvette is capable of low sample rates (down to 150 sccm) for monitoring isoprene in single-leaf cuvette systems.

FIS-Auto is used for isoprene monitoring at ground level, on towers, in chamber studies, and as a breathalizer. The instrument is weather resistant and is used for general, continuous, isoprene monitoring. An on-board microprocessor-controlled calibration system provides instrument zero and calibration up to 12 times per day, allowing unattended or remote operation for extended periods, providing continuous and extremely accurate isoprene data without intervention. FIS-Auto also accepts external logic signals to perform calibrations on any user defined schedule. This instrument is weather resistant and suitable for all isoprene monitoring situations including cuvette, chamber, ambient, tower, aircraft and long duration experiments. Sample inlet flow is 4 slpm nominal.

FIS-Auto-Cuvette is a low-flow version of FIS-Auto, it is capable of air sampling down to 150 sccm which is necessary when monitoring isoprene in leaf-cuvette systems or other low-flow applications. This is achieved through use of an alternative internal plumbing scheme. Sample flow range: 150-2000 sccm.
